Fabrication

Made ready for assembly

Fabrication is the process of adding features to a basic object by cutting, punching, bending, drilling, stamping, welding or milling it into a product ready for assembly. Aluminum extrusions respond readily to fabrication.

Bonnell Aluminum and its subsidiary AACOA operate several advanced machining cells designed to produce aluminum extrusions ready for assembly.

CNC machining

All CNCs are capable of utilizing 4-axis positioning for milling, drilling, tapping and slot cutting. Fixtures may run from a simple vise to complex fittings.

Precision cut-to-length

Length tolerance of ±0.005" on cut lengths between 0.197" and 7.874"; ± 0.010" on cut lengths between 0.50" and 60"; ±0.020" ton cut lengths between 14.75" and 118.10"
